Tired and Exhausted

This morning was totally crazy. I set my alarm clock for 5:15 a.m. every morning in order for me to leave the house at 6:30 a.m. to be to work for 7:00 a.m. Can somebody please tell me why I turned the alarm off and then went back to sleep? When I did turn over, I saw daylight coming through my window. That was odd. Hmmm, I looked over at my clock and how come I saw the numbers 6:00 staring at me! WHAT THE HECK!!! OH MY!!! I jumped out of bed and went to the bathroom to wash my face and brush my teeth and then let the stream of serenity flow. I was flabbergasted.

I think my tiredness is that I go to the gym four days a week after I get off work and then early Saturday morning. I am also doing alot of stuff at work while at the same time trying to train my new boss on alot of stuff she needs to know. So it feels like I am doing it all and then not to mention those dog-gone nagging students. Well anyway, I'm trying to get dressed and get my tail out of the house on time. I put on my Capri's and my top (which I am so glad I took out last night) and then I look in the mirror. WHAT THE SHEEZY!! My hair looks like about 6 scarecrows played hopscotch while jumping rope at the same time. I quickly plug in the hot curlers and proceed with getting my shoes. The clock is playing a cruel joke on me because one minute it was 6:05 and then it just suddenly jumped to 6:15.

I kept telling myself that I can do this. I quickly put in about two curls in my hair and combed it back and made it do what it do. You would not believe that I made it to work at exactly 6:57. GEEZ. Enough is enough.

  2. It's amazing how quickly we can get ready when we have to, isn't it?
It sounds like you need to take it a bit easier- 5 times a week at the gym? Pheeew!!! :0)
By the way, It's wine OR chocolate not usually at the same time. Cup of tea with the chocolate. Cashews with the wine. ;0)

  5. Queen bee, delighted to meet you. I too like to sleep in the morning. The best alarm clock is when I miss it and my two boys snuggle in and wake me up.

    Blessings from Costa Rica,
